THE DRAFT STATUTE ON EMBRYONIC STEM CELL HAS PASSED FOR WHICH HUMAN CLONE WILL BE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN BY THE GOVERNMENT
To protect the integrity of human genome and citizen's dignity, the "Draft statute on Embryo Stem Cell Research" has been passed by Executive Yuan on July 24th, 2008. On the premise that to encourage the progression in clinical researches and developing technologies for disease treatment, the Government through the reasonable measures to forbid the experiments which can clone human or generate Chimera, and to effectively manage future embryo stem cell, researches in our nation.
